My large-scale painting practice came to an abrupt halt when, at aged 59, an autoimmune condition left me too ill to manage such big canvases. This enforced limitation allowed me to connect with an un-lived life as a textile designer. The designs that emerged from this process mark a creative rebirth, below are some examples of this work.
